What is Dark Web?

The dark web has been around for a long time, but most people don't know much about it. Today, we'll explore the basics of what the dark web is and why it's important to understand. We'll also explain how you can use it in your day-to-day life—legitimately!

What is Dark Web?

The dark web is a part of the internet that cannot be indexed by search engines. It's a shady corner of the web, where users can conduct illegal activities without fear of being detected by law enforcement agencies. The dark web has been used for everything from buying and selling drugs to selling stolen credit card information and hacking tools.

Dark web sites are often hosted on the Tor network -- an encrypted network that uses onion routing to hide user identities and locations, as well as their IP addresses (which would otherwise be visible).

How to Access the Dark Web?

There are quite a few ways to access the dark web, but most of them involve using Tor.

Tails is an operating system that can be used on a USB stick or DVD. You can install it on any computer and use it to browse the internet safely and anonymously.

You may also want to try I2P or Freenet instead of Tor if you want added security or anonymity. These two services work in different ways, but they both provide an anonymous way to browse the internet without being tracked by anyone else online.
